I can not even begin to express how proud I am of Evan and how well he is doing in Karate. This past Saturday he graduated to his Orange belt. Next week he will start the curriculum of the Leadership Club. The Leadership club will help him gain more self confidence, learn the skills to become a leader and set an example for others to follow as well as guide him towards earning his Black Belt. the decision to join the Leadership club was Evan’s He asked about the Black Belt Club, which is basically where you commit to staying in karate until you at least reach your black belt. The Leadership Club is a step above that. His teachers actually recommended him for the Leadership Club. I gave Evan the choice to make and he chose Leadership. I can not wait to see him grow into the Leader I know he can be.
I have to say, putting Evan in karate was one of the best decisions I have made in a very long time.
