Catch Up – June

Posted June 17th, 2010 by Stacie

Ok so I’ve been called a slacker as far as my blog goes. LOL! Let’s see since my last post what have I been up to?
In my ten years of working at IPC I recently witnessed the worst inventory. The positive spin was that I ended up with 10.5 hours in OT, granted Uncle Sam took half of it, it was still extra money.
Tanya and I have discovered that we need to have a check list before we assemble anymore invites. I am planning a 40th birthday party for Sista Friend (for those of you who don’t know, that’s Joni, my brother’s girlfriend). Tanya was sweet enough to contribute her talents and make up the invitations. I “proof” read them, apparently not very well. After we finished assembling all 100 invitations, labeled, stamped and sealed the envelopes they were ready to go in the mail….or so we thought. When I got home gave my mother her’s and we were looking it over when I realized the date was wrong (LOUD GASP HERE). We very carefully (and successfully i might add) opened up all of the invites and mom and I spent the next night with a pink marker fixing the dates. It’s pretty comical now, but I was panicking at the time. I will post pics of the invitation once the party has taken place. Joni knows when the party is, but that’s it.
This past Saturday was the Eagles concert, featuring the Dixie Chicks and Keith Urban. It was a fantastic show! It rained off and on all day and we were drenched but we had an absolute blast! I have posted some pics here

Lots of fun events coming up for the summer! I will do my beset to keep up with my blog.

Hope everyone has a fun and exciting summer!!
