Adventures with Stacie

I can’t even believe that my lil baby is 10 years old. It just seems impossible sometimes. I was sitting next to a mother at Karate last night who was getting annoyed with her 6 year old wanting to be held and sit on her lap. She looked at me and said, ” I know one day I will miss this, but today is not the day.” I chuckled with her and immediately Trace Adkins’ song “You’re Gonna Miss This” popped into my head. I thought to myself, I do miss those days when Evan would just crawl into my lap. I love it when he wants to watch a movie with me. We are off to the cottage this weekend and I anticipate some cuddling movie time with my lil man.
